Inside Taylor Swift’s $17 million seaside mansion where she hosts A-list parties
Taylor Swift bought an 11,000-square-foot Rhode Island mansion for $17.75 million in 2013, and she reportedly paid for it in cash.
Since then, the musician has put her hard-earned, lavish home to good use by hosting a number of parties with famous friends, known as her “squad.”
Built in 1930, the mansion sits on the highest point in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, and features 700 feet of shoreline and views of Little Narragansett Bay, according to the real estate site Zillow.
It includes eight bedrooms, eight fireplaces, and a pool in the back, which was the site of a notable Fourth of July party that Swift hosted earlier this month.

The dining room seats eight, and the kitchen comes with amenities like a Sub-Zero fridge.
There are gorgeous views of Fishers Island Sound, Little Narragansett Bay, and The Watch Hill Light House.
Which are even more spectacular from the outdoor terrace.
Thought to be “the highest point of direct waterfront land on the entire eastern seaboard,” the home sits on 5.23 acres of waterfront property.

And it opens on to 700 feet of sandy shoreline — a perfect location for A-list parties.
Earlier this month, Swift grabbed headlines when she hosted a wild Fourth of July party that included a massive and patriotic inflatable slide in her backyard.
Swift and her supermodel friend Karlie Kloss put the slide to good use …
… as did “Orange Is the New Black” star Ruby Rose …
… and actress Kennedy Rayé and singer Rachel Platten.
At one point, model Gigi Hadid and model-actress Cara Delevingne posed with Swift on the sprawling grass of her property.
Delevingne and others took to Instagram to show the fun they were having.
And later on, Swift and her entire “girl squad” found themselves wading into the pop star’s backyard (the Atlantic Ocean).

The party concluded on the mansion’s lawn with a fireworks display and one final picture of Swift and her squad. Not bad digs for celebrating America’s independence.
